Community Groups are small groups that meet throughout the week at different times and locations with the goal of making new friends and growing you in your relationship with God by doing life together.
Let’s be clear about something. By making new friends we mean two things:
- Making new friends with people who are already a part of Deep Rivers Church.
- Making new friends also means you will be encouraged to invite new people into your community group as well. Don’t worry. We will carefully explain the “how’s” and “why’s” of this ongoing invitation. But know this…
Our community groups are places of fun, care/support and spiritual growth – but they are also places for us to live with a missional purpose in life. This is what we mean when we say we are Loved, Empowered, Sent. “Sent” means we are committed to living purposefully in the lives of others as well.
