In 2013 we moved to Hummelstown to serve as the Adult Ministries Pastor at a large church in the area. After 2 1/2 years, some transitions in the church led to a restructuring and the elimination of some positions, including mine. In the midst of all the confusion and uncertainty that followed was always this truth: “God called us here.” We are not here by accident. We have been called and are rooted in this community for a reason.
After recognizing God’s call on our lives to plant Deep Rivers Church, a gathering of people who value God’s Word above all else, and who believe hearing God’s Voice is the birthright of every believer. We will be a church that is serious about prayer and living with a mission in our community.
